Upland White Goldenrod is one of our few species with white blooms, as well as one of our shortest keeping to a minimal 12”. Flowers have a closer resemblance to an aster with white ray of petals and a yellow central disk. This species of goldenrod also begins blooming much earlier in the season that most of our goldenrods, sometimes as early as June.

This species of goldenrod enjoys full sun and can tolerate dry, shallow, rocky and sandy sites making it a lovely addition to a rock garden or other tough to grow areas.

The Solidago species are a keystone species and valuable host plants for over 100 species of moths and caterpillars, as well as providing pollen and nectar for approximately 30 species of specialist bees.
