A late season bloomer, Obedient Plant is a nectar rich flower providing much needed food for our pollinators. Obedient Plant is a member of the mint family and spreading by rhizomes can fill in a space quickly making it not always ideal for smaller spaces (unless you plan to maintain it more thoroughly). It’s light pink flowers can be positioned and hold their place, hence the name ‘obedient’ plant.

Reaching heights of up to 4’, Obedient Plant enjoys consistently wet or moist feet and will do well in rain gardens or ditches.
