Symphyotrichum novae-angliae

New England Aster is one of our more showy Asters with larger flowers varying from pink to deep purple. New England Aster will grow in full - part sun and grows up to 5’ tall. This Aster tolerates the ‘Chelsea Chop’ quite well allowing for a shorter plant with more blooms.

As with many other Asters, New England Aster is a late bloomer providing much needed nectar for Monarch and other butterflies, bumblebees, wasps and more.

Like all Asters, New England Aster is widely popular with many pollinators and serves as a host plant for over 112 pollinators.
