Symphyotrichum ericoides

Heath Aster stems are covered profusely with small white flowers with yellow centers. One of my favourite asters, it is easy to grow in full to part sun in dry to average soils. Although it does self-seed readily, dense plantings to cover bare soil can help keep it in check.

Like all Asters, Heath Aster is widely popular with many pollinators and serves as a host plant for over 112 pollinators.
