Hairy Mountain Mint, also known as Whorled Mountain Mint, is a fantastic addition to any garden covered in small white flowers with light purple dots, they are loaded with nectar that attract copious pollinators to the yard. Soft blue-green foliage adds an extra level of interest to the garden before and after bloom time has passed.

Hairy Mountain Mint makes a great addition to sensory gardens as well with is soft and scented foliage. The strong scent of the foliage tends to deter herbivores from munching on this plant.

This member of the mint family is clump forming and spreads by rhizomes. While it can be a quick spreader, it is usually not very aggressive and is easy to cut back to keep it in place.
