Helenium autumnale

Dogtooth Daisy is a prolific late season bloomer with cheery yellow flowers that tolerates wet sites making it a great addition to a rain garden.

Also commonly called Sneezeweed, this perennial wildflower does not cause allergies as its pollen is moved by insects, not the wind. It received the name because historically it’s leaves were dried and used as snuff, which was inhaled to help sneeze.
